House-hunters have flocked to an exclusive development of homes built in the gardens of a former manor house.
Persimmon Homes, which has built the stunning Parc Starling development in the grounds of Starling House, has already sold more than three quarters of its properties and just 15 now remain.

?The homes offered at Parc Starling are attracting a lot of buyers because they are so individual,? commented Sharon Robinson, sales director for Persimmon Homes Wales. ?The properties provide a great deal of flexible living space, designed with real creativity, which is what many people are looking for.?

?Carmarthen itself is also a very popular location with many facilities on the doorstep. Properties are really holding their value in this area and investment here is on the rise.?

Parc Starling offers a total of 61 detached three and four bedroom homes in a delightful semi-rural setting. Traditional homes and contemporary three storey designs are combined to provide an appealing and exclusive development. All the properties at this select development offer style and sophistication with a range of contemporary features including stainless steel kitchen appliances and chic white bathroom suites.

The 15 properties remaining to be sold in Phase Two of the development include the stylish show home and a mixture of four bedroom homes. These include Etons, with double garages, ranging in price from ?257,995 to ?259,995, and Harvingtons, which are four bedroom properties with single garages, priced at ?234,995.

Parc Starling is located just outside the county town of Carmarthen in Johnstown which is fast becoming an increasingly popular residential area. The development is flanked by the beautiful woodland of Coed Ystrad, a Woodland Trust protected area which is popular with walkers and children.

Buyers can enjoy all the benefits of living close to the historic town of Carmarthen which sits alongside the River Towy. Steeped in rich heritage and culture, the town features a castle and numerous churches and chapels offering stunning architecture and an interesting slice of Welsh history.

The town also boasts a shopper?s paradise of retail outlets ranging from the traditional indoor and outdoor markets to the popular St Elli Precinct. Carmarthen has a strong sporting tradition and numerous local clubs, while those looking for a bit of culture can make the most of its art galleries and popular Lyric Theatre.

Ideally located for commuters, Parc Starling lies just minutes from the A40 and A48 providing fast access to the M4 with Swansea less than half an hour away.
